A site map is a special data page that helps search engines manage the website indexing and helps users navigate the main pages, sections, and categories of a website.
Site map in XML format (sitemap.xml)
Sitemap.xml is a special file that informs search engines about important website pages and gives recommendations for their indexing, such as priority, update information, and other data. This file may also contain information about media content, language versions, etc.
In Cartum stores, the sitemap.xml file is generated automatically.
Sitemap.xml contains:
all pages that are not closed for indexing;
links to alternative versions of pages in other languages open for indexing;
images for products and news, including image captions, either manually set or generated by templates.
The priorities specified for pages follow the standard page hierarchy:
home page — "1";
all category pages and filter presets — "0.9";
product pages — "0.7";
text and news pages — "0.6".
Sitemap.xml example
When the number of pages in a file exceeds 50k, the file is automatically split into several.
The site map is available at https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml.

The file is automatically updated once an hour.
