You may need to export products to Excel for various purposes, such as updating product parameters on your website in bulk. There is no need to edit each product manually — just export the products to a file, edit it, and import it.
All export options available on the platform can be found in the admin panel in the Products section under the Export button.
Excel (extended) option is used to export products to the Excel spreadsheet.
Please note: when exporting in Excel (extended) format, all main product attributes and variant attributes are downloaded, but general attributes created in the product template are not downloaded. To download them, use the Attributes export function.
When exporting, the file includes all the products available on the website. But sometimes you need to download a particular group of products. You can do this by filtering products by individual attributes in the Products section. To do this, move the cursor over the column name and select the options you need from the drop-down list. After that, only filtered products will be included in the export file.
How to export products
To export products:
Go to the Products section of the admin panel.
Filter the products if necessary and click Export.
Select the Excel (extended) export format and click Generate.
Click on the name of the export to download the file with the products.
How to export attributes
Exporting attributes generates an Excel file that contains the SKU, product title, and all general attributes that apply to the product template you have selected.
To export attributes:
Go to the admin section of the Products panel and click the Attributes export button.
In the drop-down window, select the desired product template and click the Export button.
Click the Download button to download the file with the attributes.
Actions with export files
If you generated an export file but did not save it and closed the tab in the browser, you can access it by clicking Export → All exports.
In the section that opens, all export files that you have generated on the website are saved, except for the export files of the attributes.
To save a file, click on its link. You can find the file you need by filtering by name. To do this, move the cursor over the header of the Title column and type the name of the file you are looking for in the search box.
You can also set up auto-generation of export files. To do this, check the Autogeneration box next to the desired file.
The update occurs automatically once a day. You can also update the file manually using the Update button.
Please note: if changes have been made to the product templates related to this file, the auto-generation of the file will stop working.
