How to edit product settings in bulk step by step

For your convenience, the system provides the ability to perform bulk actions with products. In this article, you can find a list of such actions, as well as instructions on how to work with them.

Merging products

The Join button can be used to merge separate products into variants. After that, the main information of the parent variant (description, section, characteristics, brand, etc.) will be applied to all variants, and its SKU will be used as the Parent SKU.

Changing products display

For products, it is possible to hide them in the catalog.

Important: If the product properties are set to Show on storefront: no, the product will not be displayed in the catalog on the site, but will still be available via a direct link (for example, the customer has previously saved the link). If you need to completely exclude the possibility of ordering, do not forget to change the availability status.

To disable or enable products for display in bulk, follow these steps.

Step 1.

In the Products section of the admin panel, find the products for which you want to change the display.

Step 2.

Check the box next to the desired products.

Step 3.

At the bottom of the page, in the bulk actions panel, click the button Other actions → Change view on storefront.

Step 4.

In the window that appears, select Yes if you want to display products, or No if you want to hide products.

Step 5.

Click the Confirm button and wait for the process to complete.

Changing products availability

The platform provides two formats for working with the availability of products: availability statuses or stock accounting. The format can be changed by a support specialist at your request.

Availability statuses

Step 1.

In the Products section of the admin panel, find the products for which you want to change the availability status.

Step 2.

Check the box next to the desired products.

Step 3.

At the bottom of the page, in the bulk actions panel, click the button Other actions → Change availability status.

Step 4.

In the window that appears, select the status you want to set for the selected items.

Step 5.

Click the Confirm button and wait for the process to complete.

Stock accounting

Step 1.

In the Products section of the admin panel, find the products for which you want to edit the stock quantity.

Step 2.

Check the box next to the desired products.

Step 3.

At the bottom of the page, in the bulk actions panel, click the Add quantity button if you want to increase the availability, or Reduce quantity if you want to decrease the quantity.

Step 4.

In the window that appears, opposite each of the products, in the column Quantity, specify how many items you want to add or remove from the warehouse.

Step 5.

Click the Confirm button and wait for the process to complete.

Changing icons

Icons, or product stickers, can quickly draw the customer's attention to product features. They are displayed on the mini-card and on the product page, and also affect the placement of products on the website's storefront.

Step 1.

In the Products section of the admin panel, find the products you want to edit.

Step 2.

Check the box next to the desired products.

Step 3.

At the bottom of the page, in the bulk actions panel, click the button Other actions → Change stickers.

Step 4.

In the window that appears, select the desired sticker from the list and the value you want to set for it — Yes if you want to activate the icon, or No.

Step 5.

Click the Confirm button and wait for the process to complete.

Changing promotions

On the product page, you can set up a block with a countdown to the end of the promotion.

Step 1.

In the Products section of the admin panel, find the products you want to edit.

Step 2.

Check the box next to the desired products.

Step 3.

At the bottom of the page, in the bulk actions panel, click the button Other actions → Change promo.

Step 4.

In the window that appears, enter the following data:

  • Date and time of the end of the promotion;

  • The text of the promotion in all languages that are enabled on the website.

Click the Confirm button and wait for the process to complete.

Uploading to marketplaces

To determine which products should be uploaded to the feed of a particular marketplace, you need to enable the corresponding checkbox in these products.

You can do it manually, or you can use bulk actions with products.

Step 1.

In the Products section of the admin panel, find the products you want to edit.

Step 2.

Check the box next to the desired products.

Step 3.

At the bottom of the page, in the bulk actions panel, click the button Other actions → Export to product feed.

Step 4.

In the window that appears, select the name of the required marketplace and the value you want to set for it — Yes if you want to include products in the feed, or No.

Click the Confirm button and wait for the process to complete.
