How to add photos by import

To add photos in bulk by import, you need to make the images available via a direct link, and the service where they are stored must allow to parse them. This can be your previous website or your supplier's website, for example.

Step 1.

Prepare a file that contains your product SKUs and links to images in the Image or Gallery column. If you already have this file, go to step 2.

💡 Tip

If you need to add several photos for one product to the table, you need to list them in one cell separated by semicolons. For example:

Step 2.

In the admin panel, open Products and click Import.

Step 3.

Click Select on Disk and select the file you've prepared to import, or simply drag and drop the file into the dialog box.

If you have a file in the form of a link from your supplier, paste it into the appropriate box.

Step 4.

On the import preview page, the attributes will be mapped automatically, except for Image and Gallery. They need to be mapped manually.

💡 Tip

If there are unnecessary attributes in the file, you can remove all mappings in 2 clicks. And then set the mappings only for the SKU and parameters that need to be updated — Image and/or Gallery.

Preparing image files

For the Image block, the file name must match the SKU of a product for which the image is being uploaded. To attach multiple images to a single product, you need to add a number to the file name with an @, for example:

SKU: BK554-233; file names: BK554-233.jpg, [email protected], BK554-233@2.jpg , [email protected], etc.

For the Gallery block, the file name should correspond to the product article for which the image is being uploaded. Add @gallery_common to the file name, for example:

BK554-233@gallery_common.jpg, BK554-233@[email protected], BK554-233@[email protected], etc.
