On the category page, website users can sort products by various criteria.

Sorting options in the catalog — Cartum

These criteria include:

  • Popularity;

  • Price;

  • Name;

  • Date added.

Note: Upon your request, support specialists can hide or display sorting buttons for each parameter, change their order, and select which one will be active by default.

Sorting by popularity

When you click the By popularity button, products will be sorted by the value of the Popularity parameter, which is set manually or by import in the product properties. By default, it is zero for any product. The higher the number, the higher the product will be displayed in the catalog when sorted this way.

Sorting by popularity is set by default on catalog pages. If you have not set the Popularity parameter for products, they will be sorted by creation date.

Sorting by price

You can sort items by price, either ascending (click the Price low to high button) or descending (click the Price high to low button).

Sorting by name

When you click the By name button, the items on the catalog page will be sorted alphabetically.

Sorting by date added

The Newer first button allows you to sort products by the date and time they were added to the site. By default, this button is hidden.
