There is often a need to create a separate page with products from different categories — for example, for sales, new arrivals, or themed collections. You can implement such a page on your website by filtering products by stickers.
Sticker for product collection
To create a collection, you need to use a sticker with the In product properties activation way. It can be either a system sticker (Sale, New, etc.) or a sticker you created yourself (for example, Black Friday).
Stickers are created and configured in the Website → Product stickers admin panel section.
After choosing a sticker, enable it in the properties of the desired products (manually or via import).
Creating a link to a product collection
Once the sticker has been added to the products, you need to create a link that will display all products with this sticker regardless of category.
Open the top level of the catalog on the website. The link to this page can be found in the admin panel in the Website → Pages section, Catalog page settings.
On the same page, make sure that the Product stickers option is enabled in the Filters section.
On the catalog page of the website, use the Filters block and select the sticker you want to use to create a selection. After applying the filter, only those products for which this sticker is enabled will remain on the page.
Please note: stickers New (auto), Amount of discount, Video, etc., with activation methods different from In product properties, are not displayed in filters and do not allow you to create links.
Now pay attention to the address of the page you received in your browser — it will contain the parameters of the filter applied. You need to copy this address — it will be used to create a selection page.
Creating a separate page with a product collection
To create a page with a product collection, go to Website → Pages and click + next to the page that will be the parent for the collection.
Fill in the main fields for the new page:
Page title — the name of the collection (for example, Sale or New arrivals);
Template — any product template designed to display a product catalog;
Redefine URL — paste the previously copied address of the catalog page with the filter here;
If necessary, make other settings for the page.
Create, copy, and paste links to the filter results for the other language versions of the site. Check the Show on storefront box and save the page.
Now, filtered products will be automatically displayed on this page, and to change the list of products on it, you just need to specify or delete the selected sticker in the product properties.
