Bulk prices per quantity is an option that allows you to set up several prices per unit of product depending on the number of units in the order. The option is available for the Pro and B2B plans.
Setting up bulk prices per quantity
In addition to the standard retail price on the website, you can set up to 5 price levels per unit of product, depending on its quantity in the order.
Wholesale prices per quantity can be set up either manually for individual products or in bulk for products using import.
To customize the prices of an individual product:
Go to product properties and click Add wholesale price.
Set the quantity of the product unit and the price that will be applied based on this quantity.
Save the page.
If you need to disable this feature, go to Settings → General Settings → Products and uncheck the Wholesale prices per quantity box.
Importing bulk prices per quantity
You can assign/change wholesale prices per quantity in bulk using the import table or API.
Please note: when importing wholesale prices, they are perceived as a single data set. This means that:
If there is an error in one of the values, all wholesale prices for this product will not be updated;
If the update contains fewer prices than the product, the remaining values will be cleared;
When importing empty columns, the wholesale price value will be cleared.
Standard import
To assign wholesale prices per quantity to products in bulk, the import table must contain these columns:
SKU
Wholesale price # XXX
Order from # XXX

Wholesale prices per quantity are displayed on the product page and in the product mini-card in a collapsed block.
In the shopping cart and at checkout, the customer will see an offer to add the required quantity of products to get a lower price per unit.
When processing an order, the store manager will also see that wholesale prices are available for the product and which price is currently applied in the cart.
Interaction with discounts
Please note that all types of discounts available at Cartum can be applied with the wholesale prices per quantity.
Discount coupons are applied only if the Valid for products with discount box is checked in the coupon settings.
