You can leave a note about the customer, visible only to the store managers, with information that should be considered when communicating or processing an order from this customer.
How to add a note to a customer profile
To write or edit a note about a customer:
Go to the Customers section in the store's admin panel.
Open the card of the selected customer.
Enter your comment in the Note about the client field.
Save the changes.
In the general customer table, you can display a column with notes. To do this, click the menu button in the upper right corner of the screen and enable the Note about the client checkbox.
Client notes in the Orders table
If a manager has left a comment about a customer in their profile, a note icon will appear next to the name of such a buyer in the general orders table.
Hovering over this icon will display the comment text in a pop-up window.
Client notes on the order page
A note about the client will also be displayed on the order editing page in the corresponding field.
From this page, you can also quickly add and/or edit such a comment. To do this, click Add or the edit button — the client card opens, where you can add or edit a note.
Exporting client notes
Notes about the clients are added as a separate column to the export of customers into an Excel table.
These comments can also be transferred through API customer import/export (users[i].note parameter).
