You can add links to your social media pages in the header and footer of your site, set up social media widgets on the main page and buttons for reposting to social networks on the site pages in Website → Social networks.
Social media links in the header and footer
To add a link to a social media page, channel, or group in the messenger to the header and footer:
Go to Website → Social networks.
Click on the name of the social network or on the pencil icon to open the settings.
Set the URL to your social media page or channel or group in the messenger in the appropriate field. Check the Show on storefront box and save your changes.
How to provide links to Telegram, Viber, and WhatsApp correctly
For Telegram, use the link like
https://t.me/xxxxxx
, which is indicated in the information about the channel or group.For Viber and WhatsApp, the invitation link looks like
https://invite.viber.com/xxxxxx
andhttps://chat.whatsapp.com/xxxxxx
, respectively , which can be found in the channel settings.
Additional settings
Additionally, you can change the following values that are predefined on the site:
Title — the text of the tooltip that will be displayed when you hover the cursor over the icon. It is set separately for each language version of the site.
Icon — the style of the icon to be displayed. The following values are available (case sensitive):

You can change the order of icons on your website by dragging and dropping the rows in the list to the appropriate places.
Social media widgets on the homepage
To display social media widgets on the main page, you need to copy the widget code into the Widget code field.
Widgets are displayed in the Stay connected block. If the block is not on the homepage, please contact our support team.
Sharing buttons in blog articles and on product pages
Cartum allows you to add social media or messenger sharing buttons to blog articles and product pages.
Note: The display of sharing buttons on product pages is disabled by default. To enable it, go to the Website → Design → Design editor section of the admin panel, expand the Product page item and in the Page layout tab, turn on the switch next to Share.
To enable the share buttons:
Open the settings for the corresponding social network or messenger and scroll down to the Share button section.
If necessary, change the button text for each language version of the site in the Button title field .
Set the button display style in the Button widgetskin field .
Check the Active box and save the changes.
