Stores on Cartum operating in Bulgaria and Romania can activate a simple integration with the Econt delivery service.
Delivery options
Two options are available for working with this service:
Delivery to Econt branch: delivery to Econt branches, lockers, and mobile branches.
Delivery to address (Econt).
Order placement process
Delivery to Econt branch — during checkout, the customer will see a list of available branches, lockers, and mobile pick-up points in their city.
Delivery to address (Econt) — the customer can select the street and fill in the house and apartment number in the respective fields.
Setting up and activating the Econt delivery option
Settings are made in your website's admin panel in the Settings → Shipping methods and carriers section.
Important: For correct operation, the default country (Bulgaria or Romania) must be set in the site settings, or the country selection must be configured during order placement.
To set up delivery option:
In Settings → Shipping methods and carriers, click on the Delivery to Econt branch or Delivery to address (Econt) option.
If necessary, change the Title of the delivery option — customers will see it when choosing delivery type.
In the Type field, the value should be set to Delivery to Econt branch for branch delivery or Delivery to address (Econt) for home delivery. Do not change this setting.
In the Payment field, select only those payment methods that will be available to the customer when choosing Econt delivery at the checkout.
Set the Currency for delivery. Available currencies: BGN, RON, EUR, and USD.
In the Prices field, configure the delivery cost for customers. How to do this is described below.
The Country field must be set to Bulgaria or Romania.
After completing all settings, check the Active box and click Save.
Selecting branches type for Econt delivery
You can create several delivery options with the Delivery to Econt branch type, which will differ in the types of branches available for selection.
For example, a delivery option Econtomat, where the customer can choose only lockers.
To configure such an option, in the Display for customers only the following types of parcel delivery points section, select one or more items from the list:
Standard Econt branches;
Econtomat;
Mobile branches.
By default, in the delivery option Delivery to Econt branch, all available options will be selected.
Selecting a branch in the admin panel
When processing or creating an order in the admin panel, all types of branches and lockers are available. If it is necessary to see only the types of branches available for this delivery when processing an order, check the Apply filters for types of parcel delivery points in control panel box.
In this case, when processing an order, the store manager will see only those branches that were available to the site customer when choosing this delivery option.
Determining delivery cost
The delivery cost is determined in the Prices field for each delivery option, with two values — a fixed amount or according to the carrier's rates.
Starts from order total sum — the minimum order value which the shipping cost applies to.
Cost — fixed delivery cost.
By delivery carrier rates — if this checkbox is selected, the customer will see the According to the carrier rates text during order placement. The delivery price will not be added to the order total.
Attention: if the first line in the Starts from order total sum field is set to a value greater than zero, this delivery option will be unavailable for orders less than the value of the first threshold.
Example of cost calculation
You can flexibly configure the delivery cost depending on the order amount. For example:
Up to 10 euros — this delivery method will be unavailable for selection.
From 10 to 50 euros — delivery according to the carrier's rates (the delivery amount is not added to the order total in the cart).
From 50 to 150 euros — fixed delivery cost of 15 euros.
Over 150 euros — free delivery.
