Stores on Cartum operating in Bulgaria and Romania can activate a simple integration with the delivery service Econt.
Delivery options
Two options are available for working with this service:
Delivery to Econt branch/lockers: delivery to Econt branches, lockers, and mobile branches.
Address delivery (Econt).
Settings
Settings are configured in the admin panel of the site in the section Settings → Delivery Options.
Important: For correct operation, the default country (Bulgaria or Romania) must be set in the site settings, or the country selection must be configured during order placement.
Order placement process
Delivery to Econt branch/lockers — during order placement, the customer will see a list of available branches, lockers, and mobile pick-up points in their city.
Address delivery (Econt) — the customer can select the street and fill in the house and apartment number in the respective fields.
Setting and activating the speedy delivery option
To connect delivery:
In Settings → Delivery Options, click on the option Delivery to Econt branch/lockers or Address delivery (Econt).
If necessary, change the Name of the delivery option — customers will see it when choosing delivery.
In the Type field, the value should be set to Delivery to Econt branch/lockers for branch delivery or Address delivery (Econt) for home delivery. Do not change this setting.
In the Payment Options field, select only those payment methods that will be available to the customer when choosing delivery on the order placement page.
Set the Currency for delivery. Available currencies: BGN, RON, EUR, and USD.
In the Prices field, configure the delivery cost for customers. How to do this is described below.
For delivery, the Country field must be set to Bulgaria or Romania.
After completing all settings, activate the Enabled checkbox and click Save.
Selecting branches for Econt delivery
You can create several delivery options with the type Delivery to Econt branch/lockers, which will differ in the types of branches available for selection.
For example, create a delivery option Econt Lockers, where the customer can choose only lockers.
To configure such an option in the delivery variant, in the item Show the customer the following types of branches for selection, select one or more items from the list:
Standard Econt branches;
Lockers;
Mobile branches.
By default, in the delivery option Delivery to Econt branch/lockers, all available options will be selected.
Selecting a branch in the admin panel
When processing or creating an order in the admin panel, all types of branches and lockers are available. If it is necessary to see only the types of branches available for this delivery when processing an order, enable the checkbox Apply branch type filter in the admin panel of the site.
In this case, when working with an order, the site manager will see only those branches that were available to the site customer when choosing this delivery option.
Determining delivery cost
The delivery cost is determined in the Prices field for each delivery option, with two values — a fixed amount or according to the carrier's rates.
Threshold — determines from what value the delivery price applies.
Cost — fixed delivery cost.
According to the carrier's rates — if this checkbox is selected, the customer will see the text According to the carrier's rates in the delivery column during order placement. The delivery price will not be added to the order total.
Attention: if the first line in the Threshold field is set to a value greater than zero, this delivery option will be unavailable for orders less than the value of the first threshold.
Example of cost calculation
You can flexibly configure the delivery cost depending on the order amount. For example:
Up to 10 euros — this delivery method will be unavailable for selection.
From 10 to 50 euros — delivery according to the carrier's rates (the delivery amount is not added to the order total in the cart).
From 50 to 150 euros — fixed delivery cost of 15 euros.
Over 150 euros — free delivery.
