Section with reports in the admin panel

Analytics section is a tool for viewing and analyzing the most important metrics of your store. Study information about orders, sales, visitors, conversions, and products.

The feature is available for Standard and higher plans.

Summary page

In the Analytics section, you will first be taken to the Summary page, which contains key indicators and graphs from all reports. By default, data for the current week is displayed.

Detailed reports for each metric are available by clicking on the card name or in the menu on the left.

The report page contains extended information about the metric and more detailed data.

Reports on the following indicators are available:

  1. Orders the number of orders. Orders with all statuses except Canceled are taken into account.

  2. Sum of purchases — the total cost of all products sold minus discounts.

  3. Average check is the average order amount: sales amount divided by the number of orders.

  4. Visitors — the number of unique daily sessions. The calculation is based on data from Google Analytics.

  5. Conversions — the sales funnel from creating a shopping cart to receiving an order. The report displays the conversion at four stages: creating a cart, starting to place an order, successfully placing an order, and receiving an order.

  6. Top selling products a list of popular products. There are three report options available, based on different criteria: the number of items sold; the number of orders with this product; the total cost of all items sold.

  7. Top in wishlist — a list of products that customers most often add to their favorites.

Attention: for the Visitors and Conversions reports to work correctly, you need to connect an Google Analytics account to reports.

Selecting a period, detailing and comparing

By default, reports display data for the current week. To change the period:

  1. Click the date selection button near the page header.

  2. In the window that opens, select one of the predefined periods in the left column or any period in the calendar.

In some periods, data drill-down options are available. For example, when you select a quarter, you can group data by day and by week.

Comparison

This feature helps you compare metrics for the current and previous time periods. You can enable it by checking the box in the date selection window. When enabled, a second (gray) layer of values for the previous period will appear on the charts, and percentage changes will be displayed next to the numbers.

Two comparison modes are available:

  1. Comparison with the last period comparison with the period preceding the selected period. For example: current week - last week, today - yesterday, May 2019 - April 2019.

  2. Comparison with the last week — comparison with the same period last year. For example: May 2019 - May 2018, Q2 2019 - Q2 2018.
