In this guide, we'll take a look at all of Cartum's options to help you customize your shipping choices for customers outside of your country.
Country by default
If you plan for your store to deliver in one foreign country, select this country in the Country field. In this case, when placing an order, customers will be able to immediately select their city from the drop-down list.
Country selection field at checkout
If your store plans to deliver products to different countries, set up the Country selection field during checkout. In this case, customers will see the corresponding list of cities in the City field after selecting a country.
Our database includes cities with a population of more than 500 people.
Shipping costs to different countries
If you need to set up an order amount-dependent shipping cost to a specific country that the customer will pay when paying for the order, you can do the following:
Create appropriate shipping methods for the countries you ship to the most. Give them clear names.
In the delivery method settings, limit the availability of each of these options to one country by selecting it in the Country of delivery field.
Set the appropriate shipping prices in the Prices field in the settings of each shipping method.
