Examples of parameters for displaying prices and restricting access to product information for different groups

Updated over a week ago

Here are some examples of how to set up price display and access to products for different user groups on the same website.

Unregistered visitors

Unregistered visitors settings — Cartum

With these settings, unregistered (anonymous) visitors will have access to the store main page, as well as to the Smartphones category, but not to the subcategories of this category.

In the categories, visitors will be able to see product mini-cards without a price and without the ability to go to the product page.

Registered customers

Registered customers settings — Cartum

Registered site visitors who are not assigned to another group will be able to view the home page, the Catalog page, the Smartphones category with all subcategories, and the Computers and Laptops category without subcategories.

The catalog and available subcategories will display product mini-cards with the retail price, but without the ability to go to product pages.

Buyers from Large volume wholesale group

Large volume wholesale group settings — Cartum

B2B customers assigned to the Large volume wholesale group will have access to all pages without restriction, since there are no selected sections in the Available pages field.

In the catalog and categories, they will see product mini-cards with the ability to visit the product page. The product information will display the wholesale price, as well as the retail price in the RRP field. The stock balance will be added to the availability status.
