The shipping options which your customers can select from before confirming their orders can be set up via the admin panel in the Settings → Shipping methods and carriers section.
Default shipping options
Out of the box, your online store offers a number of shipping options relevant to your country.
You can change the default shipping options by adding automatic price adjustment depending on the order amount, change the names of the shipping options and enable or disable them.
New shipping options can also be added, if necessary.

To set up the desired shipping option, click its name.
How to set up shipping cost
You can define the shipping cost as a fixed value or set the system to display the text According to carrier rates.
Starts from order total sum: the minimum order value which the shipping cost applies to.
Cost: fixed shipping cost.
By delivery carrier rates: if this checkbox is selected, the customer is shown the text According to carrier rates and the the shipping cost will not be added to the order amount.
Attention: if the Starts from order total sum field in the first line contains a number larger than zero, this shipping option is not available for orders with the value smaller than the one in the first line.
Example of setting up a shipping cost
Example: with the above settings for orders with a value:
up to $20 — this shipping option is not available;
from $20 to $100 — shipping cost is according to the carrier rates, the shipping cost is not added to the order amount;
from $100 to $300 — shipping cost is $15;
from $300 and above — free shipping.
Setting up available payment methods
You have to define the payment methods available to the customer after selecting each of the shipping options. First, set up the payment methods in Settings → Payment methods.
Use Payment checkbox list to select the payment methods available to the customer with the selected shipping option.
Shipping types
The Type parameter defines the format in which the customer can provide the shipping address while placing the order. Cartum allows the following shipping types:
Single-Line Address: an address field is provided during the order placement.
Multi-Line Address: zip code, street, building, apartment: while placing the order, the customer can provide the exact delivery address including the postcode, the street, the house number, and the apartment, in the separate fields.
Address: works like the previous one, but when placing an order, there are two fields for the address and a field for the zip code.
Local Pick-up: a local pick-up point can be specified in the shipping option name.
Difference in shipping types when placing an order
City field on the order placement page is a system parameter which is available for all the shipping options.
Creating a new shipping option
To create a new shipping option:
