In Cartum, you can set up a checkbox on the checkout page to allow customers to opt in to receive news and promotional emails from the store. Consent data can be exported to the customer list and transmitted via API.
These settings can be found in the admin panel under Settings → General Settings → Checkout.
You can choose whether the box is checked by default. This option is useful if the legislation requires that such consent be given by the customer intentionally when placing an order and not be the default selection.
In addition, you can set up a tooltip for the checkbox that provides additional information for customers, which will appear in a pop-up window on the checkout page.
