The catalog categories that you want to draw customers' attention to can be displayed on the main page of the site in a special Popular categories block.

Step 1.
Go to Website → Pages in the admin panel.
Step 2.
Click the gear icon next to the category you want to appear in Popular categories.
Step 3.
Scroll down the page and check the Popular category box.
Step 4.
Scroll down to Category image below. Upload a category image that will be displayed in Popular categories. Square images look best.
If you do not upload an image, a photo of the first product in this category will be displayed as the category image.
Step 5.
Save the changes and check the display of the block on the site.
Please note: if the block does not appear on the homepage after the above actions, check if it is enabled in Website → Design → Design editor section, Homepage → Popular categories item.
