Minimum order value

Setting the minimum value for placing an order on the website, limiting delivery methods and payment by order value

Updated over a month ago

The minimum order amount is the lower acceptable limit of the cart value with which customers can place an order on your website.

If the total value of products in the cart is less than the threshold specified in the settings, the customer will see a notification on the checkout page and will not be able to complete the order.

Setting up the limit

To set a minimum value for placing an order, you need to set a threshold for all payment methods or for all delivery methods.

In the admin panel, go to Settings → Payment methods or Settings → Shipping methods and carriers and specify the threshold in the settings of each method.

Restrictions on shipping and payment methods by order value

For each shipping and payment method, you can set your own threshold. This way, you can determine which methods will be available for orders of a certain value. There can be several of these thresholds.
