In the store on Horoshop, you can create an auto-updating XML feed to populate Prom, taking into account this platform's specific requirements.
By default, the following data is transferred in this feed:
SKU
Alias
Name
Price
Photo
Description
If the products have values filled in, the following are also transferred:
Brand
Warranty (field Warranty period)
Color
Sellers with a high service level on Prom can also transfer the parameter In stock for Prom, which you simply enable in the product properties. Products with this label will be displayed as ready to ship and will have priority in search results. The criteria granting access to this option can be found in the Prom guidelines.
Configuring Features for Export to Prom
Selecting parameters for export to Prom must be set for each category whose products you plan to export. For this:
Go to the admin panel in the Site → Pages section and enter the category settings for editing.
In the Features for export to Prom.ua field, select the necessary features for export from the list.
Click Save.
Note:
There is no need to select the features Color and Warranty period, as they will be exported by default.
Features of the type Yes/No are not available for export.
In nested subcategories, the parent category's settings will be inherited, provided they have the same template and no separate choice is set.
If subcategories have different product templates, it will not be possible to choose own features from the product template in the parent section.
Generating XML Feed for Prom
To generate the feed for Prom:
Go to the Products section, click the Export button, and select XML (Prom, main language) from the list of possible export options.
Click Generate. Once the generation process is complete, you will see the feed link above the All export options button.
Attention: if stock accounting is enabled on your site and you want to transfer stock information to Prom, you need to select Prom (ua+ru) instead of XML (Prom, main language).
This feed is also suitable for transmitting product data to allo.ua, f.ua, zakupka.com.
Automatic Generation
To set up automatic generation of the feed:
Go to All export options and mark the checkbox Auto-generate for the desired export option.
Note:
If you have updated data on the site and want the feed to update immediately, you need to click Update in the export results table.
If you do not manually update the feed, it will update automatically within a day.
If manual feed updating occurred during the day, it will not update automatically that day.
If changes were made to sections or product templates after generating the file, the file needs to be regenerated.
Which Products Will Be Included in the Prom Feed
By default, the XML feed for Prom will include all products available in your store.
If you want only products from certain categories to be included in the feed, you need to use the filter in the product table to select the necessary sections and then generate the feed.
Note: If filtration by any property or feature (for example, only in-stock products) is set in the product table, only the filtered products will be included in the feed.
If the necessary products cannot be filtered by existing attributes, you can create a separate modification parameter to filter products for Prom. If you have several product templates on your site, contact support to create a comprehensive characteristic in the system template.
When using a separate parameter for filtering, be sure to fill out the Modification Name in the products.
Displaying Modifications on Prom
In the feed for Prom, according to the documentation, product modifications are combined by the group_Id parameter for XML formation on this platform.
Note: To create or import products with variations in the Prom cabinet, you need to enable the "Varieties" web application in the Market.
