If the store provides international delivery to different countries, you can customize the country selection at checkout and which delivery options will be available for a particular country.

You can enable the option to select a country for delivery in Settings → General settings → Checkout. You need to activate the checkbox Display "Country" field.

After you have activated the country selection at checkout, you need to configure the availability of a certain shipping method for the country.

In Settings → Shipping methods and carriers, select the desired method.

In the Country of delivery field, you need to select for which countries this shipping method is available during checkout. If nothing is selected, delivery will be available for any country.

By default, shipping methods have the following settings:

In the Countries excluded from delivery field, you can select countries for which this shipping method does not work. By default, for all types of delivery, these are North Korea and Venezuela. Terrorist countries are blocked at a deep level on all Cartum sites.

For delivery options that are tied to a specific city, for example, Courier, you can additionally select a list of cities in a particular country where this shipping method will be available. Cities are selected separately for each delivery country.

When the country selection option is enabled, the buyer selects the country of delivery from the drop-down list, and then can choose the delivery city in that country.

The city database includes all cities with a population of more than 500 people.
